Hollywood Studios Dining

50's Prime Time Cafe

This was the only Hollywood Studios Restaurant we ate at.

If you're a Boomer that grew up in the 50's, you'll LOVE this restaurant. My sister and I did!

Your waitress is "Mom" and you're back in your family kitchen in the 50's.
"Mom" : "You eat all of your veggies, there are starving children in Africa!"
"Get your elbows off the table! Were you born in a barn?"
            "Chew with your mouth closed!"

Our waitress sounded so much like my stepmother, my sister and I laughed through the entire meal. We both absolutely loved this restaurant.

We got an added bonus: There's an old 1950's refrigerator as part of the decor.
It's the same refrigerator that was in my lake house in 2017 when I moved in - and was still working perfectly at 62 years old!
(We took a picture of the 2 of us in front of it)

We both ordered the fried chicken dinner and of course, the obligatory 1950's milkshake.
Everything was very good...but it's the "Mom" factor and decor that really makes this restaurant. They even had old TV's playing all of the old time TV shows.

There are plenty of other dining options at Hollywood Studios but I recommend you give the 50's Prime Time Cafe a try.

HEAD'S UP:
We met a couple of British women after lunch and discovered there were TWO entrances labeled 50's Prime Time Cafe. They took the second entrance (wrong one!), waited in a buffet line and paid $100 for their 2 lunches! Make sure you take the first 50's Prime Time Cafe entrance!
